Subtitles
Subtitle requirements apply to all delivery priorities. Please follow these specifications regardless of the image/sound format you deliver.
File formats
- Accepted formats: .srt, .stl, .itt, or .xml
Languages
- Deliver each subtitle language as a separate file/track
- Combined subtitle tracks are not allowed (e.g. no mixed German/French subtitles in one file)
Timing & sync
- Subtitle timing must match the delivered picture exactly: same frame rate (fps) and same In/Out as the film material
- No overlapping timecodes or subtitles
- Minimum subtitle duration: 20 frames
Layout
- Maximum 2 lines per subtitle
- Maximum 56 characters per line
